Subject: Demand for the Rights for lower caste people in Nepal
Dear representative of the Nepali government and representatives of the interests of the Nepalese people,
According to the present constitution of Nepal everybody is entitled to the same basic human rights and it is not allowed to discriminate anyone. However, due to the traditionally prevailing caste system, the people from the fourth, i.e. lowest, caste are denied these human rights in social and public life....
